Aries Rising Sign

Do you have Aries rising sign? Learn how to read your birth chart by diving into the meaning of your rising sign. If you are new to astrology, a rising sign is a sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth from your birth location. To find what is your rising sign, use a birth chart calculator and see which sign you have at the 9 o’clock direction.

This post is part of my book Stellar Wisdom of Rising Sign: One Step Closer To Know Who You Are.

The first house is all about you. You are the embodiment of Aries. In terms of personality, you are passionate, brave, enthusiastic and competitive. You would love to start something new and have enough courage to do so. You are simple, straightforward, direct, and proactive. You would not like playing a complicated mind game.

The first house rules your physical appearance. Aries is symbolized by Ram, representing the head. Thus, you would have a large forehead and a bit less hair due to its fire energy. Also, you can be athletic, sporty and physically prominent in anyways. You find it relatively easy to build muscles and your body tends to be tight and well-fit, not bulky. You generally have a slim body type. (Note that if you have any planets in the first house or Mars has an aspect from other planets, the physical traits can drastically change.)

The first house also represents your life path. Passion is your key success factor. By letting passion drive you, you can reach your destination. The more you live your life with excitement, ambition, and fearlessness, the more you thrive in multiple areas of life.

When you are emotionally and energetically aligned with who you truly are, you can be easily inspired to pursue what you want and get a lot of things done quickly. You are naturally self-aware, so you simply know what you exactly want. However, when you are out of alignment, you would express the negative traits of Aries. You can come across as reckless, impulsive, aggressive, domineering and even violent.

Mars is the ruler of both the first and eight houses in your birth chart. This means that your deep emotional state, subconsciousness and resources of others directly affect your life path as well as physical, emotional and mental states of your being. When you are not conscious of who you are, you can easily fall into a self-destructive mode, allowing fear to dominate you. It can be often expressed in the form of anger, violence, and aggression (Mars). In fact, you naturally have a high level of self- awareness. So, you can confidently equate yourself with something that you believe to be true, while others would take a longer time to analyze or gather information about who they are.

Your primary challenge is related to HOW you define yourself. Know that you can always choose to build and reshape your identity in ways that you prefer. Nothing is set in stone. As you learn to define yourself in positive ways, you can resolve deep-rooted traumas and subconscious fears, allowing yourself to be healed and reborn as a new person you prefer to be.

Also, you can benefit from the resources of others such as romantic and business partners. The resources include but not limited to money, time, investment, talents, skills, knowledge and social networks. In general, sudden life-changing events, accidents, secrets of any sort, occult knowledge, healing, internal investigation, intimacy and private time can help you stay grounded and become a better person. You can also emotionally and materially benefit from marriage or business partnerships.

The position of your Mars can show in which areas of life hold the key to improve your overall life, develop your characters and how you can best express who you are.
